What We Do

Rubber covering and recovering, done the way it should be done.

Capability 01

Custom compound selection or formulation

Every roll order starts with the chemist analyzing the application — your chemistry, temperature, line speed, prior compound, failure mode. We specify from the 150+ compound library, or formulate a new compound if nothing in the library is right. No defaulting to a stock compound because it's what we have.

Capability 02

Hand-built covers on a 75,000 sq ft shop floor

Roll covers are built by hand by craftsmen who've been doing this work for decades. The 4th-generation Arthur family business hasn't outsourced this work. The cover that ships to you was built in Memphis by people whose last name is on the building.

Capability 03

Independent third-party lab validation

Compounds are validated by independent third-party laboratories — immersion testing in your actual chemistry, abrasion testing, tensile testing, durometer verification. Not self-reported. Data backs every performance claim.

Capability 04

Full range of base chemistries

Nitrile (NBR), EPDM, Neoprene (CR), Silicone, CSM (Hypalon), Viton (FKM), Natural Rubber (NR), plus our branded compound families — IronCore, Black Diamond, ChemFlex, WorkPro, RhinoHide, SteelForce. The right base for your service, tuned by the chemist.

Capability 05

All roll positions, all industries

Pickling line squeegee and wringer rolls. Coil coating applicator rolls. Paper machine press, suction, calender, and dryer rolls. Aluminum mill ironing rolls. Plastic film chill and laminator rolls. Chemical processing rolls. If it spins and needs a rubber cover, we've covered one before.

Capability 06

Recovering existing rolls — full strip, rebuild, regrind

Most of our business is recovering existing rolls. Ship us the worn roll, we strip the old cover, inspect and repair the core (journals, end bells, balance), build the new cover, cure, grind to spec, dynamically balance, document, and ship back with a complete roll analysis package.
