Core Capability · Urethane

Polyurethane roll covering, cast in-house since 2015.

In 2015 we brought polyurethane casting in-house — no longer outsourced, fully controlled. Polyether and polyester urethane families. Custom durometers from 40A to 80D. Cover families like CoilGrip, PolyRinse, EliteCoat, and Irongrip — each engineered for a specific roll service. Superior wear resistance, tear strength, and load-bearing performance vs. rubber for the applications that need it.

What We Do

Custom-cast polyurethane for applications rubber can't handle.

Capability 01

Polyether and polyester urethane families

Two distinct urethane chemistries, each with strengths. Polyether urethanes for hydrolysis resistance and low-temperature flexibility. Polyester urethanes for higher tear strength, abrasion resistance, and cut resistance. We pick the right family for your service — we don't default to whichever is in stock.

Capability 02

Full durometer range: 40A to 80D

Soft-and-conforming urethane for sensitive surface contact (40A–60A). Mid-range industrial duty (60A–90A). Hard structural urethane for heavy load (90A–80D). Custom durometer matched to your nip pressure, line tension, and roll service profile.

Capability 03

CoilGrip — recoiler/uncoiler sleeves

Polyurethane sleeves engineered for years of cyclic expansion/contraction in coil coating service. Custom durometer matched to your mandrel OD, coil ID tolerance, and line tension. Engineered cut and tear resistance. 4–6 months of life vs. 1 month for off-the-shelf competitor sleeves.

Capability 04

PolyRinse — wet service urethane

Wet service polyurethane engineered for continuous water and process fluid exposure. For rinse stages, dewatering, cleaning positions, and aqueous chemical contact.

Capability 05

EliteCoat — coating applicator urethane

Coating applicator urethane engineered for paint, coating, and surface treatment lines. Surface finish and nip profile tuned to prevent marking on freshly coated strip.

Capability 06

Irongrip — high-traction surface urethane

High-traction surface compound for applications requiring reliable grip on smooth or slippery webs/strip. Maintains grip characteristics over long service life.
